Upcoming Memorial Golf Tournament
Come "Fight cancer one stroke at a time" at our upcoming JH Cancer Fund Golf Tournament on Saturday June 20th, 2026 in memory of Jerry Herzog.
Who was Jerry Herzog?
Jerry Herzog fought in a valiant battle against bladder cancer, but lost his fight in May of 2015. His doctors at Mayo Clinic told him bladder cancer treatment hasn't changed for many years.
Jerry was a Vietnam Veteran, teacher, father, grandfather and avid golfer. He worked for Stark Co. and the Canton school system before he retired.
After his passing Jerry's family set out to help others that would benefit from continued research in treatment of advanced bladder cancer.
Our JH Cancer Fund Memorial Golf Tournament is held annually and benefits local bladder cancer research.
Past beneficiaries of our tournaments include:
- Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital of Canton Ohio.
- The Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network.
- Angel Flight Southeast.
